Personal Reflection

The Penn State Senior Thesis gave students entering the industry an opportunity to showcase everything they have learned over the past 5 years in the Architectural Engineering Program.  After meeting the people that I have in this major, it is clear how close this major is compared to others. I found some of my closest friends within this major and found what working hard actually meant.  This major is not easy in any way and it has shown me just how capable I am and how much I can push myself to succeed.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has helped and supported me along this long 5 year endeavor.  I could not have done this without the support of my family and friends.  In a major like this one, it is important to know what is important and who will be there for you when times get tough.  I would also like to thank my project team at Turner Construction for supporting me in my internships and my thesis.  They have taught me so much and I truly appreciate all of the help, insight, and friendship they have shown over the past few years.

CPEP Assessment

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) site was effective in showcasing the efforts of all the students participating in senior thesis.  It was also a positive way for students to show all of their work to the people that have helped them throughout the process.  I know that I appreciated a simple way to show all of my work in one place by sending the link to my website to my project team and family.  It was a pretty beneficial tool for students to utilize throughout the entire senior thesis.
