Kayla Clatty is currently a 5th year student in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University.  In May 2018, she will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in construction management.  Kayla is a member of multiple student run organizations including the Penn State Chapter of the Architectural Engineering Institute (Student Society of Architectural Engineers) and the Student Chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (S:PACE).  She has held executive positions, secretary and administrative vice president, with the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE) in order to mentor undergraduate students and provide a fun environment for all AE students and faculty.

During the past two summers and parts of the school year, Kayla participated in construction management internships with Turner Construction Company, a nationally and internationally recognized general contracting firm.  These experiences provided her with knowledge and insight in the bidding, coordinating, sequencing, and closeout processes of a construction project.  She will be continuing her work experience after graduation with a full time position at Turner Construction Company.

Meet Kayla!
